Yesterday I got to hang out with the mopey
popcultureicon in an attempt to wrest him from his giant vat of boredom and Seattle-ness. I believe this makes me the last of his friends to see him with hair. WIN! Now he has no hair.
So we went to Blue C sushi. It was my first time there and it was BEYOND AWESOME.
The button!
The hand-dryer is from the future
Super big extra TV, sugoi!
The adorable adorable food and TEMPURA VEGGIES HUARGHHH Tiana would have liked them
We decided the most Irish name ever was Potato McFamine. The TV had an awesome "extreme sports" show with people in huge fuzzy costumes. It was crazy. The music was interesting; they played Royksopp and some other mellow techno stuff. Then I had the urge to shop, so we went to 45th Ave. Red Light was closing, but this cute cute boutique I've always wanted to go to was open: Pitaya. Any of you girls been there? It's super-cute.
I got:
- this cute green top and
- this cute orange zip-up with neat lines (which you can't really see).
I tried on:
- adorable see-through top
- sixties-ish tunic/dress (which was TOO SMALL even in a large, but so awash with cutenessmanship.)
All in large, everything is for tiny girls but generally, their "cut" seemed to fit my body type fairly well. And what a pretty store.
The end.
